What is Usb X360key (xk3y)
Usb X360key (xk3y) is an awesome solderless Modchip that allows you to load games from a USB Hard drive without the need for any discs! It will allow you to have more fun with your Xbox 360 for it is capable of perfectly emulating the optical disk drive in Xbox 360, and allowing you to play all Xbox 360 you have saved on any USB reader o external Hard Disk. usb x360key (xk3y) is compatible with all Xbox 360 models, both Fat and Slim, and offers advanced features including emulation of the AP25 protection.
HOW IT WORKS
Usb X360 key works with a personalised Linux system, that allows the Xbox 360 optical reader to emulate,allowing it to boot games from a USB device.
Usb x360 key is composed of 2 parts：a motherboard，and a remote.
The motherboard connects with the SATA bus inside the Xbox 360 which is a full-fledged computer system running embedded Linux, sits between the drive and Xbox 360 motherboard. It is excellent in many things such as：
- Emulating the Xbox 360 DVD drive
- Reading USB hard drives and other USB media with various file systems
- Updating itself and other hardware from USB media
- Communicating with the remote and other external USB devices
- And more! (embedded Web server and Wifi connectivity for example)
The remote is a simple but stylish piece of hardware featuring an OLED display and 3 buttons which are used to control various aspects of x360key. Besides，it connects to the Usb x360key (xk3y) usb motherboard through a high speed USB2 connection. It has USB port for connecting USB hard drives and other devices as well. Plus it is also used for browsing attached USB media devices and launching games.
